How long does NGF take to issue e-certificate online after oath? Need to book flights accordingly. Ideally, I would want my wife to do the oath on Tuesday and travel back on Thursday

Next day. But if you mention about the travel plan during the ceremony, they will send the certificate in couple of hrs.

Hello everyone! As I mentioned earlier, we applied as a family—my wife, two children, and me. Both my wife and I have completed background verification. I took the test and passed on August 30, 2024, but my wife requested to take it in person. She was scheduled for October 22 but unfortunately failed. Has anyone had experience with splitting applications? My wife sent a webform yesterday requesting to treat the files separately, but today I called IRCC and the officer informed me that we need to send a letter and not a webform, and that it's not guaranteed the request will be accepted. If it’s denied, does that mean we have to wait until my wife resolves her exam? Additional info: both my wife and I have LPP in progress. After almost 2 months, there has been no update. Agent also said my security and criminality checks are complete, but they didn’t provide information about my wife, but on the tracker it seems to be in process. Montreal office. Thank you for your comments.

Not experienced with this particular issue so take it with a grain of salt. If there is anything out of ordinary like splitting a file or test waiver because previous application was cancelled after the test was cleared , it can add a lot of delay. And the chances of succeeding in such endeavor are lower. The test is not hard. Prepare quizzes for practice. Sometimes due to nervousness we overthink. There are a few sites which people have posted and they are pretty good. You can also search Richmond library and Toronto library citizenship practice test in google

https://www.apnatoronto.com/canadian-citizenship-test-practice/

https://www.citizenshipcanadian.com/canadian-citizenship-practice-test/

https://cacitizenship414questions.blogspot.com/
This one has 414 questions and a person who did it got 19/20. Sone have mistake /don't show the correct answer but its a huge list and maybe over kill. However if you are retaking the test , doing that practice will give confidence. . I prepared my own document and asked questions in it . Prepared chart of people, events and history that shaped the country, and dates. I used to ask a random question and try to recollect. Just reading the guide we may think we will remember answer. But it is the questions and quiz that will help us to cement it in memory
