Were you able to pull record from CBSA for time spent on temporary basis in Canada?

My Application was also returned with reason that identification document is required for minor applicant. I had submitted passport and PR card for my Son. They were like if you submit PR card as a ID proof then second ID must be Canadian. So I resubmitted application with PR carde and School ID card. and they accepted it.

Its a letter from school. you can ask your kid's school and explain the purpose. They will provide it within a day or two and it is valid.

I submitted Pr and health card and it was returned

I submitted the Passport and PR card for minors. Think will be returned for me as well. Wish the online application had that clearly validating.
Will Passport and Health card work then? Please advise

I submitted an expired PR card, expired passport, health card, and school ID. I also submitted school reports. I figured they will figure it out. It wasn't returned but they took a mighty long time to respond.

Why they returning? as per site information one ID is sufficient with photo,

  • A PR card may only be used as personal identification if your second piece of personal identification was issued by the Canadian government
• school record;
• health insurance card;

• Note: If there is information on both sides of the identification document, photocopy both sides.

The online application asks for 2 id's in an order. When I chose the first one as PR card, it showed only other Canadian id's for the 2nd. But if I uploaded the passport first, I had options to upload any other ones for 2nd.

Re-reading the document requirements, I see if even one of them is a PR card, we need to have the other also a Canadian issued one.

I wish the online application catches all these while validating, we are just loosing time.

yes they will return it. Same happened with me. I submitted passport and health card. Avoid the pr card. Pr card just creates confusion and is not accepted. Their online portal should not even accept it.

yes they will return it. Same happened with me. I submitted passport and health card. Avoid the pr card. Pr card just creates confusion and is not accepted. Their online portal should not even accept it.

I have submitted - 1st PR card and 2nd Health card. lets C if they returned.
