it’d be easiest if you guys checked my timeline on the spreadsheet! I don’t remember all the dates well now
olvach101 under June tab

I didn’t get an email yet, but the update on the tracker is dated Dec 22
I believe it should be virtual, I don’t think NF office does any ceremonies in person, but, again, I didn’t get an email with instructions yet

Can anyone pls tell how to deal with the gaps in the transit dates while filling online Canadian citizenship form .. it won't validate for transits .. and how to continue (residence and tax ).. has anyone applied recently plsss plsss help from India to Canada is obviously 24 hrs so with an extra stay in airport the date will definitely change I am. Sick of this plsss help someone

Seniors please respond. I'm stuck here. Need your input badly.

Also, for the PCC from India I have recently got it due to Job purpose here in Canada. It's just two months old. I'm hoping I can use the same PCC for applying citizenship

Hi everyone!

I am in the process of applying for Citizenship application myself. There is one question in the application that says: Have you ever used any other names? I have not used any other name ever, but recently I started using the short part of my given/first name. It is only on LinkedIn, email signature, and on our company team page. My full first name (Rajpreet) is hard to pronounce so I thought to start using the short name (Raj) as I started a new opportunity. I don't think short names are nicknames or aliases or aka.

All of my docs have my full name (Rajpreet xxxx) and it is the same everywhere.

Do I need to mention my short name as the answer to Have you ever used any other name? Also, do we need to update them if we use any other nickname or name variation (like initial words of first and last name) after applying for citizenship) on social media such as twitter, LinkedIn, etc.?
It's for legal names. Not for pet names and other informal names.

thanks for the response. Much appreciated.
so should I leave that field blank? The reason I was asking this is that they can check my LinkedIn which has my short name.
If you scared of it, add you original name in brackets on linkedin. Personally I don't feel it's an issue.

Hi everyone

If the virtual oath ceremony invite states the ceremony time as 8.15am, how much time realistically should I block out for the ceremony? I would like to invite some people to join me for the ceremony if they can, and it would be helpful to let them know when they should plan to come and how long it would take approximately

In reading comments from other forums, i've seen 2 hrs on average.
