Application sent: June 20th 2022
AOR: June 23rd
GU: Oct 7th
Request for more information: Nov 28th
Information sent: Nov 28th
Tracker status updated: Nov 30th waiting on you for more information.
GU: Dec 16th
Jan 17th - email saying they couldnt read document. So I sent registered post.
Jan 19th- tracker updated to say waiting on you for additional info.
Jan 23rd- info received on their end.
March 2nd- got document back. Status updated to reviewing info.
March 3rd- Background complete
March 8th- Test invite March 13th -April 3rd. (Invite from West- assuming Vancouver).
March 13th- Took test passed 19/20.
March 23th- Test completed (updated on tracker March 25th).

LPP- in progress
Oath ceremony- not started


When I last called I was told my application is being processed in Sydney NS still.

same here: LPP- in progress, Oath ceremony- not started. Early June 2022 online application.

Hello everyone,

i am new to this forum. i have filled my citizenship application in Nov 2020. I got update on June 15th for completion of all formalities, however Citizenship Ceremony in not started yet. Can some one gives me an idea of timeline it will take to from this step now. cos my Indian passport is already expired and i am still not sure whether i should renew my Indian Passport or await for Citizenship to get Canadian passport.

if its taking a while , i should renew my Indian passport otherwise if it is quick from this step i shall wait.

I am in the same boat. I submitted my application in June last year AOR - 3rd June 2022. Everything shows completed but Oath ceremony shows - not started and the overall status of the application is "In progress". What should be the next step? Should I call IRCC? What is the best and quickest way to reach out to them? Thanks in advance!

My timeline is almost the same as yours, it’s just that LPP was completed on 6.June. I called and the agent told me “Your application looks fine, you just have to wait for the oath letter”.
So your lpp could be done today and oath scheduled within a week, but also it could be another 3-4 months.As you know, IRCC has no transparency and no clear timeline rules for applicants. Try to be patient…
 
Hi all,

A quick question - My daughter was 13 at the time of application, application is in progress and she turned to 14. Does she need to take oath?
The 14 years of age requirement is based on age at the time of application or at the time of oath?

Kindly share your experience or reference link.
