my case is more or less like you, me and my husband applied separetly but more or less at the same time, he became citizen in March but for me there's no update, my background check has been finished in Dec 5 but nothing since.
Its weird since we both are living together with almost same Information Infact we worked in the same organization for 2.5 years LOL :)

People may want to ignore you because you only care about yourself and are very self centered. I am trying to help the applicants who don't have everything go smoothly understand what is going on so they can take appropriate action. You simply don't give a damn because you haven't experienced any of these problems. Your opinion and remarks to people who are stuck in the process is therefore of no importance and perhaps you should simply shut up.
Tell your dad to shut up. You don’t have facts but talk like you have facts. Your case is non routine, it doesn’t mean everyone else’s is. Take your frustration elsewhere. Ignored

I think so. It's annoying!
I called yesterday and I was told the certificate is printed but not mailed out. Why the he*k will they print and hold on to it. I have to travel next week. I have given up hope of getting the passport myself. I’ll have to get someone to collect it and mail it to me abroad.:(

same here. I have to go to the US urgently. I think they are too lazy to send it.

Anyone here waiting for the oath invite more than 6 months after completing the citizenship test?
in this website https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/citizenship-ceremony.html it says that
In most cases, the ceremony takes place 4 to 6 months after you pass the citizenship test.

If you passed the test and don’t receive the ceremony invitation within 6 months

  • your application may be non-routine
  • we may need more information, documents, or time to review your application
I havent received any communication from them since the test , which was completed in Sep 2022 except everything updated to "complete" on Mar 7. No FP request, no more documents asked.
Do I need to contact someone at IRCC regarding this? Pls advice.
