Here I would also advocate we should send email to our processing office to ask if the scheduled oath ceremonies would be canceled if the strike really happens from Wednesday!

For those who did their Oath recently, does the IRCC official ask for a mailing address for Citizenship certificate @nazgul86, your wife and @Canada eh you guys have gone through Oath recently, do you know?

I tried calling the IRCC office, but they said they have no instructions on it. I need to go back to the US after my oath, and so, I need the oath certificate to be delivered to a US address, or I'll have to arrange for someone to collect it for me in Canada.

Yes, the IRCC staff would confirm your address during the pre-ceremony phase, wherein you shall also be asked to cut your PR Card. Also, you can specify your address in the email which you would be required to send them with the signed Oath form.

So there is no deal reached and I believe there will be a strike starting tonight. Good luck to people who have oaths in the come few days. Let us know how they are dealing with it

Still LPP not complete... is it because I am outside Canada.. i.e US?
It has been 75 days since my Citizenship test has been marked complete.. and still no LPP complete?

Should I call IRCC and order GCMS notes/webform etc ??

I keep seeing oaths being cancelled on other forum pages, and it's frustrating that this is happening at the last minute. These people don't seem to work much, it takes almost two years to process one application, yet they still demand more money and less work.
This is why almost no one likes unions..
