Hello guys.

January 14th, 2023: Tracker shows that an invitation to write the test is coming.
January 17th, 2023: I got a ghost update today.

Is it common to get a ghost update two or 3 days after the test invitation shows up on the tracker?

My recent Update is all sections are green (completed) except the citizenship ceremony. I am travelling after two weeks for a Month I don't know what to do If they sent me an Oath request.

Another question is my wife submitted her application as well her Test is completed everything else is not completed and in progress we both have same Application number if it possible they can send me Oath before her ?

I'm in a similar situation. Everything completed, waiting for citizenship ceremony. Have to travel next month for about 40 days. I informed that I won't be able to attend ceremony until first week of April. Will update if I get a response. (Webform and email reply to test invite)

Also my application was updated with the Citizenship test request, from Jan 20th - February 9th. No invitation email yet

When was the Test Completed for you and your wife?
When was Language, Physical Presence and Prohibition completed for you?

Oath invite can take anywhere between a few weeks to 5 months... hard to say. If you do get your oath invite, I would highly recommend getting it over with. Because, if you postpone it, there is no guarantee you will get the next available spot when you are back, it could be months

I already Informed them and got a response from an agent hopefully they will send me Oath for March 2023 IA.

Anyone here did their test from outside Canada? Please let me know how it went.
I just got my test invite (window is Jan 20-Feb 9), but I'm currently abroad.
Would like to know about other people's experiences as I've been reading a lot of negative feedback, like appilcations delayed, or IRCC put their file on hold, or they got called in for an in person interview after doing the citizenship test abroad.

did you inquire with your area MP?

Yes. They sometimes speak same language as IRCC, wait for 24 months but their followup has been helpful always.

Is there anyone here whose application is processed at Halifax? Completed my test on Dec 11, 2023, yet language, prohibition, and physical presence are still in progress. I intend to travel in May 2023 and was wondering if everything will be done and dusted before then.

Hi all, Finally my spouse got an update (online application) - online test invite. window: Jan20th to Feb 9th. Hope soon everyone with online application will be flooded with messages like this. Best of Luck. thanks for the support.

ECAS decision made today. Wasn't there yesterday. There is no update in my account yet. Prohibitions, phys pres, and Lang are all in progress. Oath not started.
