I would have been near my citizenship ceremony if I did not get FP request. Sadly, my FP results are lost and no one has any idea where it is
Paper - as of now its processing time seems better.
If you don't have any dependency regarding the timelines and can wait for 18+ months, go Online it's easy ..
Go for Paper application. The current trend shows it is faster. This may change in few month though
Update: Everything completed as of October 11! Just waiting on the Oath Ceremony.

I submitted my paper application on June 22 and got my AOR on July 7.
My wife's status got updated to background completed on Aug 24, but mine did not change and is still in process.
However, both of us received invitation to citizenship test. I did my test on October 11, but no update in my profile.
My question is that isn't it weird that I was invited to the test without my background being updated to completed?
Also, how long does it usually take for the test to show completed in the profile.

Husband and Kid's background still in process
Oct 4: Invitation to the test for both husband and wife (Oct 11 - Nov 1)
Oct 7: Test letters received
Oct 11: Husband's test done and passed but not still updated in the profile

Many receive Test invite before background complete. It's not weird. Test completion takes anywhere between 2 days - week
I have submitted my application on 6th June and my Wife 7th June 2022 separately online. I don't see any progress so far since our AOR is dated 15-17 June what I think is we might get processed in Mar 2023.
