I thought for sure my application would be straightforward. Ive lived in Canada most of my life (was a minor when my family immigrated). Request for information was regarding the need for an explanation or copy of the passport as to why some of my travel was not on the current passport. I thought my explanation (on the application) of my passport expired and i needed to apply for a new one to travel again was common sense. This time i sent a copy of the photo page of the expired passport. What concerns me is in the email it says the email and attached docs are not to be more than 4MG. Well my email doesnt show me how many MGs it is (and yes I googled how to find out- no help). The pic was 2.2 MGs so im hoping it went through. I wish they would confirm they got it because i have no idea how long it will take for the tracker to update. Im wondering if I should send it again? Thoughts?

What sort of questions came in the test ? more like dates or general with province, political system, geography and basics ?

Nope. I kinda lost hope and stopped checking everyday. Unfortunately, IRCC is very inconsistent with their processing

May be send it as a pdf file. you can convert the image to pdf file using cutepdf and attach the file. It should work.

It seems that longer staying with PR doesn't give any advantage. Let our friends/relatives apply for Citizenship as soon as they are eligible.

Me too. I swear it doesn’t make any sense. I am so upset. I feel like I will be one of the 24 month’s applicants.
