I don't think it's a smart thing to do, one person did it and it didn't change much, I should have been better informed that's all.

I believe they are getting rid of the paper system soon that is why maybe they are processing paper applications quickly.

If they want to get rid of paper application, they will stop accepting new paper applications first. It is not going anywhere from what I know. Some people may still prefer paper applications.
IRCC may be hiring new staff but they are not well trained people.

Fingerprints request 5th August, finger submit on 5th August. (Request Letter came from and asked to delivery her FP result to IRCC Vancouver office)

RCMP sent out result on Wed, 17th August

On Sep 12th morning my mom call IRCC Call Center to ask if they received her FP or not. They said they did not have any updated about her FP result and they told her to continue waiting.

Tracker update on Sep 15th: FP Received on Sep 12th, message says will review shortly;
then Background status: Completed on Sep13th. all those updated about FP result only appear on Tracker Sep 15th.

Tracker updated on Sep 22th: Scheduled for Citizenship test from 26 Sep-16 Oct


Mississauga Office processing time is really fast these days.

Hi all - Just got an update from the system. Physical presence and prohibitions have been updated to completed on September 25 on both our applications. We are now just awaiting the language skills which we know we are exempted of since we are both over 54 years of age.
Can someone update the sheet accordingly?

I got an email 2 days before the test window start date. It will have all the instructions you need to access the test. I did not have to choose a time; you just start the test when you are ready for it.

You should get it before the test date.
Anyways instructions juat contain steps to login. Nothing specific. You can log into the test site and give the test.
Check your spam folder if mail is sent there

My test was marked complete on Aug 30 and waiting for prohibitions, language and residence to be completed from London, Ontario office. Anyone in similar timelines? What is the normal time for next steps after test and background completion?
