Hi guys, finally almost to the finish line:

AOR: June 29,2022
BG Completed: December 29, 2022
Citizenship test invite: Jan 27, 2023
Test complete: Feb 14,2023
LPP Competed - June 13, 2023
Oath Ceremony 1st scheduled date - June 15, 2023

I subsequently emailed to have my oath ceremony postponed as I was scheduled to travel a couple weeks after this date and was not sure if i was going to receive my passport in time. They responded by saying that my oath date would be postponed and automatically updated once i return to the country.

Oath Ceremony 2nd scheduled date- September 6, 2023.

I passed the test almost two months after you but got LPP completed a month before you and had no update since then.
I really don't understand why after LPP is complete it's not on a FIFO basis.

Can you share your processing office?

I believe it's Scarborough because that's who i emailed to ask about my Oath date but all my earlier correspondence was coming from Vancouver.

Got GCMS notes over the weekend. It has some TRIAGE 1 and TRIAGE 2 dated 2017 and 2016 and no other info in this section. Became PR in 2018 and applied citizenship application 2022. Don't understand what this means. Does anyone who ordered GCMS has this dates for triage before even they applied.

Yep, I have the same... I don't think those dates have anything to do with us.

Hello All,

quick question for those who took the oath recently.

My oath is scheduled on August 21 and I have received the email with zoom login details.
The email mentions that I can select the preferred way to receive my certificate i.e. e-certificate or paper before the ceremony begins.

so if I choose to receive e-certificate, in how many days do I receive the certificate?

also has anyone applied for their Canadian passport with Canadian Consulate overseas using the certificate?

i plan to fly out 2-3 days after taking oath.

Can I leave Canada (for a month) right after I submit my citizenship application online? Or I will have to wait until I receive AOR?
My PR will be valid when I come back and there is no issue for that.

Hello, Good morning. I got my GCMS Notes yesterday but does not stated any reason in processing delay. It just shows whatever current status i have on tracker as it is. So Not sure even GCMS notes will be helpful or not !

Secondly, My application update on tracker is 12th aug-2023 but there is no change in the LPP, still in progress only since Jan-2023.

Lastly, My Wife's oath has been completed on 14th Aug-2023, and still she is not able to download her E-Certificate, a the time it shows like

• Your e-Certificate is not available. Please try again 2-5 business days after you provided your signed Oath of Citizenship.

today is the 4th day. but still not available, any other who took oath on around 14th aug-2023, also facing same ?

Call IRCC and check whether they received your wife's oath form. Additionally you can attach the same in a webform too.

any one was waiting for Background check for long and got it completed recent, I have been waiting for Bg to be completed for four months now still pending

I Am. test completed April 18, AOR July 2022. LPP, background all still in process.
