The randomness is what drives us all nuts. Would love to have an inside look at IRCC's workings and learn why certain files get processed quickly, some slowly, and why the crazy randomness occurs. There must be some method to their 'madness' and it would be interesting to learn why things are the way they are.In the spirit of sharing updates, I can share we are still waiting for AOR .
Our target moving date is April/May of next year so, while a bit uneasy, not overly concerned. Still... I wonder why the delay compared to many in this thread.
It is so frustrating. I am also waiting for AORIn the spirit of sharing updates, I can share we are still waiting for AOR .

I'm sure the randomness is apparent - there has to be something in common for those of us who are not getting the AOR. Something is triggering extra scrutiny, delay or who knows what. I don't think this is something like a random check, like the airports... though now that I see my own words, perhaps I just convinced myself. But no, there is a set criteria. If it is satisfied, there is no reason to delay - I would assume. The randomness is what drives us all nuts. I'm happy for those who are getting it quickly as it gives us hope (poster above you...wow, good timeline for them), but for folks like yourself who are still waiting for AOR, yeah it sucks. I'm on the same move date timeline as yours (hopefully) but it's unfortunate none of us can guarantee any kind of timeline.

Dutch, The Netherlands. What is the nationality of PA and where he/she lives?
Thank you and congratulationsDutch, The Netherlands.
Aww I truly wish the best for you and your family!!On June 14, 2021 the application was received by IRCC.
On August 14, 2021 IRCC sent us an AOR with a UCI & App # We couldn't link our application to the GcKey with this specific UCI. So we patiently waited and waited and did some more waiting then finally
On Oct 20, 2021 we received a request for Biometrics along with a new UCI #. Now with this new UCI we were able to link my wife's (Applicant) application to the GcKey. She'll do her Biometrics this Monday.
On Oct 22, 2021 we received what I (Sponsor) have been waiting all along for the SA which I had some doubts about due to my criminal background (nothing serious) but still. But when I was preparing my wife's application I wrote some 10 heartfelt pages explaining my criminal background and how life without my wife and girls led me down a wrong path, how depressed I was, and that how I felt so complete now that I have been living together with my family after all these years and that past life of mine is behind me, and this was all true.
So guys that's that and I'll let ya'll know how things are proceeding on our ends. And I hope the best for all of you guys.
That is awesome! CongratsHey guys! I got my PPR this morning!!
ECAS doesn't say 'Decision made' and there are no changes in my cgkey.
Any updates guys? Mine is still pending ..Welcome to the club...
I believe the ones in this forum who have confirmed the application has been received and have not gotten an AOR are @michalm, @pav_delta, @Amm1224 and myself.
Presumably we all have similar questions, fears and frustrations, but as far as I understand we don't have much an option but to wait.
I too would be happy to hear any suggestions from anyone.
And now, back to waiting...
Have you tried using the app called TextNow? You can call IRCC using that app. However, I'm not sure if you can actually speak to an agent right now because they prioritise Afghan refugees and other urgent cases.Hey guys, the recent update we got was medical passed as of October 12 and we haven't got any updates since then. We're still waiting for AOR2, Pre-A, DM, and PPR. We're not even sure if our application was really forwarded to the Visa Office. Is there any way to contact IRCC from outside Canada? Thank you. Congratulations for those who got their PPRs already
