I am June 24 applicant. Got a ghost update on the 16th and was hoping for a test invite but got background complete today. Is there anyone in this same position? When is the expected time for test invite?

Same for me (June 22 applicant). Ghost update on 17th, checked the tracker again today, it says the background check completed on 17th, update date is 18th, but no test invite yet!

June 07 applicant here (paper, family) - our Background check was completed on January 24 and waiting for test invite since then.

Hi - A quick question about current Discover Canada book available on ircc that is missing some updates .

For example current canadian population is around 38 Million but book says 34 Million, now if this question comes in test should we follow the book or the actual numbers ?

If the book says 34 then 34 is the correct answer.
Whatever the book says should be your answer in the test

Similarly, As per the book total no of seats in the House of Commons is 308, but the representation was increased to 338 a few years back. I and spouse didn't receive any questions from these areas.

From our tests (40questions) yesterday, there were no number and which year questions. All the questions were very straightforward and very simple. I think I can pass it 15 or 16 out of 20 even if I didn't study Discover Canada.

Pardon me for my ignorance but what is ghost update? I am relying on the CIC tracker for progress but noticing many mentioning ghost update. So would like to understand the same.

Same here. AOR September 24, absolutely nothing since then. No background check, no test invite

An important tip for these people who will take the citizenship test soon

Do not use Mac Safari. I tried to access the test system with Safari first, it failed to turn on my laptop camera. I was super worried after a couple of failures.

It worked very well after switching to Google Chrome.

Google Chrome will give you a peaceful mind.

Just checked my online tracker, my background is completed today, but no test invitation yet. My husband (applied separately with the same timeline)P, got both background completed and test invitation (window: Feb 25-march 17), no email yet.

Got an update on my status tracker today: I have been invited for the test (Feb 24-March 16). I thought they are not working today
