I have a question for those whose files are transferred to a different VO other than the PA's country VO, by ex VO Ottawa for Indian PA. How is it going when it comes to process the files or stamp the passport? additional documents request..etc? All those documents or passport have to send to to Ottawa VO? Finally, the PA's country VO has no role to play in this case since the VO to which the file is transferred( VO Ottawa) does everything.

Thanks for your input if you were experiencing that.

Each VO has different process but still will end in the same goal of PPR so it would not really matter on your end per say. Some VOs gives DM/PPR on the same day some wants to consolidate all the DMd applicants and do a mass PPR like Ottawa.

From your perspective it changes nothing. When the passport request etc comes, it will be done through the physical office that's relevant (eg Delhi) - visa/copr issuance can in principal be done anywhere in the world. Document submission (apart from passport) or additional info requests will generally be online anyways. Country VO will get involved if they need to - this may or may not be apparent to you (government has email and telephones too).

In some cases - relatively infrequent - a file transferred in Canada for processing may subsequently get sent to the VO, for reasons that are not obvious to outsiders (possibly, however, because there is some complication in file they feel they need VO is better placed to handle).

It is dangerous to generalise but overall, those handled by transferring to Ottawa/Mississauga appear to be more 'simple' files. In coivd this has not always meant faster (disruptions), but more likely a positive sign than a negative.
