June 2020 - Citizenship Application

Any June 2020 to report Oath invite lately? Been almost 4 weeks the tracker is stuck at 26%.

No due date for test on my GCMS. But for the other items like prohibition, language, etc. the due dates were Nov. 8th which I am already past the date. Not sure what it exactly means though!

Also have past more than a year since AOR date.

Just applied for GCMS notes. I guess I have to wait for another 4-5 weeks. Not sure if they have accepted my urgent request. If they do how long will it take for them to correspond with me?

All chks completed and DM: July 2021
Oath done : 07 Dec 2021.
Now waiting fr citizenship certificate.

Quick question. I, my wife and kid applied together in June 2020. Mine an my wife's all checks are done. I have DM in ecas. My kid has everything in progress and my wife still does not have DM. Is it because my wife has applied for my kid?

Ah, I was thinking it was tied to AOR.

Pending Clearances is a lame excuse.If you check from notes from different departments you’d see they might had advised IRCC a long time ago with the clearance but nobody cares as it seems in IRCC so best of luck.

The MP just got back to me.
My application is pending security verification that is still in process. Security verifications are performed by external government departments and unfortunately they do not provide a timeframe for the completion of this process.

Your test will not be scheduled until this security verification is completed.



And my urgent request was received and reviewed by an officer. Unfortunately, the officer decided that you did not have sufficient reasoning to expedite your application. This office has no jurisdiction to overrule that decision.

So I guess that leaves me with only two options: Wait or withdraw my application.

I have test pending clearance location in my gcms notes but all sections are completed and decision is made. Any idea why it can be test pending clearance

i called cic few days ago. Agent asks if i am from afghanistan. my answer - no. he says - afghanistan stuff is more important. I asked the agent when this all stuff with afghanistan will end and i can call again. his response i do not know.

Back to your issue, currently cic made it clear that they only worry about afhganistan (and not about tax payers)

As one of the members mentioned before. CIC tries to get 40 000 afganistan people in 2 years

Expect delays and we all are in same boat

Thanks and totally agree. It's a shame. I am thinking of reaching out to the immigration minister but not sure if you'd respond.

Please update tracker for Nama265 - Citizenship Test request sent October 28. Test period November 1-21. Submitted test on November 21; test marked as completed November 24. Physical Presence, Prohibitions & Language Requirements are still in progress.

I am still waiting for the oath invite. The citizenship test was done on September 13th.
