Checked the tracker: was updated today (June 21), results were validated the same day (June 18)!

Updated the spreadsheet.

I had been requested to do a fingerprint on the 16th June 2021.
I had the fingerprint done on the 18th June 2021.
Can these be updated to the spreadsheet?

Separately, I received an email from the fingerprint service that 'The Canadian Authority has processed the transaction'
However, the citizenship tracker still seems to say 'Fingerprints required'.
Is this normal?

Looks normal to me. You'd have to wait until it's updated on IRCC's side. Give it a couple of days and see if it gets updated.

Could be a couple of days to a week depending on the office.

I got a test invitation so am flying back to Canada soon.
Would it be okay to take a test while I'm in hotel quarantine (in another city)? Or I need to arrive my destination place for the test? Looking forward to hearing your opinions. Thank you in advance and good luck to you all.

You can take the test from anywhere in Canada. Make sure the hotel wifi is appropriate to take test.. some hotels seem to have unreliable connections. Good luck!

Or just use your phone’s data. Much more reliable than spotty wifi from the hotel.

Ah okay, that makes sense. I just checked with him and it was actually his USA visa application that was in person, haha. His citizenship for Canada was online.

Out of curiosity which consulate did he have his US visa interview? I have been trying to reschedule mine for past month since my appointment in May was cancelled but no dates are available till 2022.

My test status was updated to completed on June 10. Wife passed her test around 12:30am on June 20, 2021.

I checked my online account and discovered that the background check which was updated to completed in February 2021 was updated to in process on June 20, 2021. Has anyone ever experienced this before?
