@jfbyap ,

My consultant was not able link the application without official AOR and wanted to charge me a fee for linking the case ahead of AOR. I am so pissed!!!! :(

There is still no AOR as of yesterday when I checked with lawyer, but this morning I got an update in ecas. it still shows in progress.

but something shows below:
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 11, 2019.
  2. We sent you medical instructions on August 23, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
What does this mean? does this mean Medical request? but we have not received our AOR yet??

I am a newbie, please someone enlighten me, after medical approved and SA, how long can it take to DM?
From DM how long will it take for PPR?

Thank you so much

Oh no! That’s awful that they’re trying to charge you extra if you don’t receive an AOR, despite having the application number...

I wonder though, have you tried just making your own GCkey account and linking your app yourself? You can only link it to one account though, so after you link it, your representative can no longer access it. Maybe you can try this first, if not, I would pay the fee because it’ll prolong your application if you keep waiting for your AOR considering they already sent the request for your medical exam.

As for how long things run for, no one would be able to tell you a firm answer since every application is process differently. Only the visa office (VO) will know how long everything will take.

Thank you for your fast response, unfortunately I can not link to my own account without dropping the representative, which would breach our agreement cause them can no longer representing me. I think I will take your suggestion to pay the fee. they want to charge me an hourly rate 195/hour, minimum 1 hour.

is the statement below means medical request?

"We sent you medical instructions on August 23, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

also what is the step after DM? just wait for PPR?

Thank you!!!

Yes, thats a medical request. And yes, from previous applicants they receive the medical request first even before the AOR.

For the timeline, there’s no specific answer because one application is different from the others. You just have to be patient and think positive.

Aor is your first line that states: your application was received on 11 June 2019. Means you already have Aor. You should have a letter( your representative) that immigration has received your application.
Yes, it’s medical instruction and your representative should forward u a letter to do medical.
Whole process is around 12 months. Anything less just consider yourself lucky. Timelines vary...

Congratulations! Did your application ever get transferred to a Visa Office? Also what’s the updates on the decision made section for pr app? Like when you click on iy? And what does GCkey show right now? We were in a almost similar situation so trying to get some more info.

You will see medical results received soon. And that would be followed by application transferred to a VO or no visa office! You should expect some news next month provided all goes well

Hi Everyone! I have 2 questions.

1. My wife (the applicant), went to the clinic yesterday to get her medical requirements done. The doctor said he will forward the results to IRCC. They gave her an information sheet with the clinic stamp that states she had completed the medical. Do we have to send the shet to IRCC? If so, how?

2. My wife and I lived in Thailand for 4 years. Now in China. She was asked for additional info (Thai Police Certificate). We have gone through an agency to get the police certificate. IRCC stated we can upload a scan of the certificate once we receive it. So, how would we upload it? I can't find how to do that anywhere.

My wife has an online account... but we haven't been able to link the account to the paper application. It just says application not found - even after entering the UCI and/or Application #. Any help would be appreciated!
