Sponsor receives the first AOR on their email if they've provided one.

No AOR yet, just got an email about the biometrics receipt, unfortunately forgot to submit it with the app. Already send using the webform. Hope AOR next.

My wife is on visitor visa in canada now. I heard I can do biometrics in usa. Where. Do I can do biometrics in usa ?

You can Call CIC and they will let you know the update on your AOR if they have started processing it.

Sponsor will get the email if the email has been provided else will come to sponsor in post. If Representative is used, he will receive the email.

In the tracker, i see that a lot of people have mentioned that their background checks have started. How did they figure this out? Is there something on ECAS or GCKEY that says background check in process. Can someone please suggest?

On the same boat here, application was received on June 05 and no AOR yet. I called them couple of days back and they just said they received the application but completeness check was ongoing. The agent gave me a temporary application number but also said I can't do anything with that number (no tracking etc.)
