I used the webform link which was in the email I received. I was emailed back after a week that it was received and would be forwarded to the appropriate Officer

Ohh ..i upload it directly to the gckay and on the "review of additional docs" was saying "document was uploaded "but not reviewd or received just uploaded..and today just now we got SA and applicant eligibility passed and under the additional documents it now saying not applicable..but now i am worried if they have receiced the form that i have uploaded or it will mess up the background check up .

What’s your timelime?
Congratulations

I am sailing the same boat, no OWP. I am not even hoping for that now. Just hoping for some movement on PR. They did move today for the people whose applications were received in the first half of June month. Lets see
Same here and worst Part is they returned my OWP stating insufficient fee but I originally paid full amount $255 along with PR+OWP and when I checked with CIC agent they admitted its misunderstanding from their end and wrote a long web form for their negligence. I was able to link OWP but its been 2 months after that there is no progress. Now only hoping to see movement in PR application in coming days.

Just to be safe send an enquiry to ensure they got it.

All requested documents/information and a copy of this correspondence must be submitted within the timeframes specified above (formatted as "year/month/day").

It's just specifying which numbers refer to the month/day because some people get those confused. For example: 2019/10/11 - some people might think the date is October 11 and some may think it is November 10th.

How long did it take between 'Request for background check' to 'Decision made'??

Congrats!!
On my ECAS, it didn't mention anything about background check. After medical request, it was straight to SA and AIP.

How many days did it read “medical received” before you got the update for “medical passed”? Getting worried!

I never got my "medical received". It was directly "you passed your medical". It took me about 10 days from the day of medical

Really? Wow! These guys were very specific with me on what they wanted on the job offer too. So strange.
I am not sure if the only requirements to apply for OHIP before being a PR are a work permit and SIN. I remember that at least two Service Ontario agents specified to me that in addition to an OWP and a SIN the applicant will need to have been employed full time for a period of at least 6 months to be eligible. Can someone please confirm this?
