I received a sponsorship approval today by email. My wife also received the separate letter which says
"This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class. It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Furthermore, we are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada office in Etobicoke will contact you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application."
Looks like good news.

Congrats! Hope your wife gets her landing interview soon!

Congratulations. Are you a June applicant?

Thanks, is this email a last step before landing interview or PPR?
Yes. Etobicoke will send your wife an email (usually within 30 days or so but I don't know how busy Etobicoke is) with a date and time for her landing interview.

I got the same letter on the 19th, and the Vancouver office emailed me on the 22nd with my interview date and time. Landed yesterday. Like I said, I don't know how busy Etobicoke is, so it could take a few weeks to schedule the interview, but this is basically the last step

Not to freak you out, but as far as I am aware the regular working holiday visa has no implied status that allows you to continue working. It only allows you to stay as visitor. Thats because the Wokring holiday visa is not extendable for most countries.

I wish people wouldn't post about IEC/Working Holiday Visa unless they have actual experience and/or knowledge. Many people post false information (like this one!) and people who don't know better quit their jobs and make other life changing decisions. I applied for inland PR with OWP a month before my IEC Visa expired (March 2019). I worked on Implied Status until I received my OWP, per my excellent and experienced immigration attorney's advice. I had several people on several forums tell me how I was working illegally, I needed to quit my job,ect....They were WRONG.

What is your timeline?

What is your timeline?
Application (with OWP) submitted to Missisauga: March 24, 2019
Application Returned for missing document: May 17, 2019
Application accidentally submitted to Sidney: May 17, 2019
(We used Canada Post originally but went with a courier to resubmit, forgot to specify to husband which courier address was the one to submit to, submitted to the wrong one in our haste because we were hours away from leaving for our belated honeymoon)
AOR: July 24, 2019
(Outland) Sponsor Approval: July 31, 2019
Medical Request: July 31, 2019
Biometric Payment Request: July 31, 2019
At this point, I was confused, as I thought inland applications were exempt from biometrics, so I called IRCC and the woman on the line told me because we accidentally submitted to Sidney, it was now processing as an outland app, and unless we wanted to withdraw and resubmit, there was nothing to be done except to let it happen.
Medical Complete: August 03, 2019
OWP refund requested: August 04, 2019
Application Transferred to CPC Missisauga: August 07, 2019
Biometrics Request: August 12, 2019
Received letter from IRCC stating that our application number was being changed for "administrative reasons" on August 22, 2019. No other explanation was given, old number now shows as "Cancelled" in GCKey
Biometrics completed: August 26, 2019
(Inland) Sponsor Approval: November 19, 2019
Eligibility Passed and Decision Made: November 19, 2019
Received landing appointment: November 22, 2019
Landing Appointment: December 5, 2019

Well I clearly stated as far as I am aware. And yeah there is huge confusion about the implied status and the IEC Visas and its hard to find the right information right away. So hopefully this will actually help people if they use the search bar on this forum to find the actual right information. I also hope no one just trusts what someone (like me) says on the internet without checking more resources.

The reason why I connected the IEC not being able for implied status at all was due to the experiences of Working holiday going into young professional visa etc.

I gladly stay corrected for the case of Spousal sponsorship!

So the spousal tracking spreadsheet has an Inland Summary worksheet which can give a good idea about typical waiting times (maximum, minimum and average) for PRA milestones, for those who are interested.

I managed to fix the links in the formulas for the June section. But the other months are still messed up. Any takers? I’ll try to fix the other sections over the next week or so in that worksheet...

here is a link to the spreadsheet:
