I have a feeling that they just said it but won't do anything, as they did say to me "oh it's an application that does take 4months, but ill speak to an officer and send them a message" but it's like I already know that and it's annoying to see people who applied in july/aug get theirs before you. Waiting games aaaahhh!
Same! Waiting sucks but I’m gonna give them a call tomorrow and see what they say. They’ll probably tell me the same thing!

we called IRCC today and we could talk to a helpful officer. He said he couldn't find any issue with my application but he couldn't tell us why it's taking long time. I called few days ago too and when that point the officer said she could send email to the office to push my application forward. I thought she just said it but she actually did it. so there is nothing I can do but it's still in process and we just need to wait. Just sharing what I heard from cic today.

Yeah that's the same response to mine as-well, just I guess it's more waiting... :(

I ended up calling CIC this morning, they said they would send an email to Edmonton office to “expedite” the work permit application. Not sure if that will help but *crosses finger*. The person also told me if the OWP is still not approved in a month then to give them a call back. :(

Yeah let's hope something will come off it soon. :(

Most of March and April application almost complete already, seem like may and June application have the longest wait even to get a medical request.

I hope it won't be that much for me! That's a lot for me shell out right now... especially without a work permit being approved yet uggghh!
