I'm going to make this a game: Based on June's timeline, I'm predicting I'll get OWP October 8th. I'm very jealous of the people that applied in July. I should have just waited an extra 5 days to apply and I would have had my OWP a month sooner haha

I applied for my work permit extension separately from the Spousal application. I submitted spousal on May 24 and OWP extension on June 12th. I just received an email of OWP approval today.

Our immigration consultant is dealing with our application so I’m not sure. All I know is it’s still in process.

You should call them and panick like I did,.I still don't understand, it says submitted my OWP not even.being processed

I'm a July applicant, I received my OWP approval recently via e-mail, which will be followed by physical copy next week in the mail.
The only logical explanation I can come up with for the delay is that different officers are responsible for June vs July applicants. Maybe there were way more June applicants and that's why it's taking longer. I hope you get it soon, I understand it can be frustrating to wait. Good luck

July 4th applicant here. My funny story is that we were planning and pushing to apply in June, but all possible complications happened with various collection of supporting documents and background checks... so we were forced to apply in July, kind of last minute. All things happen for a reason, I received my OWP on October 2nd. Wish you the best of luck, October 8th sounds like a positive date!

Only 1 week more before my spouse loses her visitor status, no OWP yet. Should we file for visitor extension?
