Once we get the OWP in mail when will we be eligible for OHIP?

Yes you will be eligible if you meet the criteria. I was able to get mine by going into Service Ontario with my permit and proof of employment, together with proof I had been living in Ontario for longer than 6 months.

I'm going to make this a game: Based on June's timeline, I'm predicting I'll get OWP October 8th. I'm very jealous of the people that applied in July. I should have just waited an extra 5 days to apply and I would have had my OWP a month sooner haha

April folks had their OWP approved 2-3 days after AoR.

Anyone from Quebec who got their open work permit?? I have been able to link it the 11 of September but they are still processing it. I got my AOR 24th July.

Am I the only one who didn't get their work permit approved yet?? I linked it 11 September and I sent my application the 13 of June.... It still says "submitted" what is the next step?? @champion21

I think you need to calm down a bit - you can track other applicants' progress on this spreadsheet. You can see that many June applicant's are still waiting for their OWP approval.

want to know how much time approx would the VO at delhi office take for decision
as my wedding anniversary is coming we wanted to celebrate together so can i apply visitor visa , i heard that there are very less chances for visitor approval

I'm getting worried now, i'm seeing everyone having their OWP's approved/physically recieved and even able to link the applications. I haven't had any luck in linking my owp to my account even though I am putting the correct information in! My stuff was recieved on June 20th.... this is so stressful. I recommend calling CIC just for piece of mind. I spoke to them the other day and they assured me that my application is fine but everyone's case is different regarding when various stages get approved.

I feel your pain broh my stuff was received on June 14th I was able to link my OWP septSepte 11th but I still didn't get my OWP. Maybe some cases went through Ottawa like mine because there was a high volume of them and Ottawa is slower. Anyway I'm really stressed

Don’t worry, there are still a lot of us including myself that hasn’t gotten their OWP approved yet. I guess it really depends on the officer working on the case?? But let’s hope for the best and we’ll most likely get ours soon! Think positive!
