Anyone able to add the application to your profile? When i try i am getting error that application is not found..
Use your UCI # from the AOR, last name , passport #, and enter the same information asked as the document IMM0008.
When talking about AOR, in my case the sponsor alone got an email stating that - "that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2019/06/DD on behalf of the following member(s):
PRIMARY APPLICANT NAME".
This had email had an uci number and application number. I hope this is the AOR notification.
Does the primary application get any other notification (email or printed mail) ?

Im confused about visitor status. I'm sponsoring my partner (US citizen) and we've been living together for 2+ years. We moved from the US to Canada in November. Since he works remotely, he's been back and forth a few times from the US to Canada. He doesn't have any official status because as an American you don't need a visa to enter. He hasn't been here consecutively for 6 months yet but Canada has been his home base.
We applied for the Visa early June and it's now in process. Do we need to apply for a visitor status for him? And can he continue to travel back to the US?
Any help is appreciated.

YES. We finally received AOR. We worked with an immigration consultant so the letter was emailed to them. As per their email, it was sent on July 20th (this past Saturday). Yours will come soon!
Application Sent: June 12, 2019
Received: June 13, 2019
AOR: July 20, 2019
If you received I guess I should.receive it soon because mine was received the 14th.
Can I ask if you guys sent the original or a copy of your police certificate? I'm nervous the application will be returned with a copy....
It should be the original one, but I don't think they will return it because it is a copy but might ask to supply it later.
