I received my citizenship certificate yesterday, exactly one week after my oath ceremony.

I did a walk in passport application today & was told that I would receive my passport by September 30th.

Hey quick update! I got asked to send in my fingerprints again for the second time, I sent it in yesterday and it was received today morning. I still haven't received a test invite yet! Does anyone know how long the wait could be till I get a test invite? For lack of better terms, is/was anyone else on the same boat? I would love some insight.

Fingerprint update takes few days/weeks to sometimes 2 months to get background check completed. So it doesnt definitely happen fast for most cases we saw in the forum.
Only few officers send out test invite without waiting for background check completion but most officers dont unfortunately. Sorry you may need to wait for more time again to get test invite.

June 2019 Applicant and have not heard from them since Sept 2019 now they updated my file but I got no Email ? how long does it take to get Email after the update is shown if anyone knows?

You are not giving any information. Which section in application status got updated for you to get email from them? or if it is general dashboard update without any change in application sections then you would see the status updates after few days.
Not all changes in application triggers emails to us.

Nothing changed just the General dashboard update. Before it showed 23 April now it shows 25 August. BUt no changes so far all is the same hopefully I will get something. so, in this case, I have to accept something in few days right ?

So basically this is my story as now I understood what is happening around my file sent in June 2019. So I have not heard from them since 2019. and around two weeks ago I called IRCC and I got a really good officer and I asked her to tell me what is the problem with my file. she told me that My criminality clearance was received on OCT 2019 which expired on OCT 2020... and it was sitting there for nothing another whole year. Today I got My GCMS notes and it shows exactly what she said, she put a note and on 24th of August 2021 they refreshed my criminality clearance which will expire in one year 2022. so if I would not have called them it would probably sit there who knows how long .... my GCMS notes indicate also that I am TEST READY now.... SO guys probably it is the same situation with June applicants that Criminality clearance is expired and they are just sitting there for nothing...

Hi guys, i need your help regarding the weird updates i get in my application!

i am june 2019 applicant. Last correspondance i received was in Dec 2019 finger print request, since then no single movement. Then I received and passed citizenship test in June 2021…
In july 2021, all my checks turned on to completed except Oath, but which is strange that background check status was completed initially and with that update in July, they reverted it back to In Progress!!
And today, i see a new update that my Prohibitions checks got reverted back as well to in progress, althought it got updated to completed in July 2021.

does any one have an idea and can help me about whats going on with my application? Why do they reverted back both background and prohibitions to in progress after their status was complete! Isn’t that weird?! I didnt receive any new requests by email for new fingerprints, and i didnt receive any communication since passing the citizenship test. Thanks for your help

once you received fingerprints then you have to give it every year till oath. As its been more than a year after giving fingerprint, you will need to give another one before oath.

Is this related by a way or other to the prohibitions checks as well? Just wondering why they revereted background checks to in process a month ago, and today they reverted prohibitions again to in process. Are both related to fingerprints?

and is there something i can do to help them accelerate the process by sending me out a new fingerprint request? Or i just have to wait?
