Still waiting for test request . June 2019 applicant.

wrote my online test on February 2 2021 and passed. It’s been 5 weeks now and my application is still “in process”. Called IRCC and confirmed me test received. Processing office is St. John’s, Newfoundland l.
any one in the same situation? How long will my application change to “decision made”?
It’s very frustrating.

Hi @engray and @matlal. I wanted to ask something for clarification please. With regards to fingerprints, I'm getting confused between the flow of information between the accredited agency, RCMP and IRCC. Would it be correct to say that after the accredited agency sends the FPs to RCMP, the RCMP gets directly in touch with IRCC?

Also, do us, applicants, get notified as to when the FPs were received? I wanted some visibility into this, as I want to minimize the risk of any information getting lost along the way, in light of the IRCC's 90 day time limit. Thanks very much!
Yes that's right RCMP will send the information after verification to IRCC. Though RCMP is taking a little longer to process. It's taking them more than 2 to 3 weeks vs 3 days which is the normal process.

No, there is no notification when fingerprints are received. However the office that requested mine, was nice enough to update the details in the file, based on the date it was done, in my case Feb 19, 2021. RCMP confirmed they send the mail after verification on March 03. Fingersprints is not a major step, so no change in status but IRCC can confirm if they have received if you send them a query

I think, we are on a same batch. still waiting for Oath....
We were very excited to become Canadian after our application was in process in October 2019. This massive delay has stolen our excitement.
It is frustrating now!

Yeah June, July , Aug 2019 application are being picked for TESTS.
It takes about a 3 - 4 weeks after the test for Decision Made or Interview and possibly another 2 weeks for the Oath invitation, thereafter. For the 2019 applicants, this has been really super long .

It has been over 6 weeks since I have finished with my test.
It looks like IRCC wants us to cry and beg, this has become a mental torture.
The main issue here is; there is no proper visibility for an applicant on the status of application, no due date.

@adeeltax send them an email. You can reply to the email id from which you got the test invite. They should let you know the next steps or provide you with an update. The local offices are very quick to respond, and maybe send a webform too, though replies to that takes a week and more. Don't worry, it will come through
