Actually we received the test and it was completed yesterday. The fingerprint request came just 3 days ago, long after the test invite. Have to agree, work is happening, though didn't understand why fingerprints are to be repearex. Guess we'll do it nevertheless. Thanks folks
I got the fingerprint request too. Do you think it is better to get the results from RCMP and forward ourselves using private courier since Canada post would take forever during these times to deliver?

Carl321,What do you mean people like this?
I am a forum member since 2010 and My citizenship filed in June 2019 -waiting since then so what's wrong if I ask them to expedite.

I assume the fingerprints are transferred digitally and not via print. That would be the ideal case, rather than have it being mailed.

Accredited fingerprinting companies
Accredited fingerprinting companies are authorized to submit fingerprints to the RCMP's Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services (CCRTIS) for searches of the National Repository of Criminal Records. The results of these certified criminal record checks do not include information from other national or local data bases.

In addition to taking fingerprints electronically, several of these companies accept fingerprints that have been taken on paper, convert them to electronic transactions, and submit them directly to CCRTIS for processing. This service is also available to individuals whose fingerprints were taken outside of Canada.

They are submitted electronically

My wife is getting hers done this Friday. For some reason, I don't need to do it.

You could also ask for a copy to be mailed to you, just in case.

Hello Adeeltax,

have you received your online oath invite yet?
if not do you know how long it takes to get online oath invite after passing the online test?

Finally received my online test, attempted and passed a few days ago.
17/20 score, I was 99% sure about 14 answers were correct while my best guesses on the remaining 6... Somehow got lucky for 3 guesses.
I would strongly suggest everyone to read Canada Discovery book over and over and practice some test samples available online.
Take the test seriously.

How long would it take to get formal notice on the test and oath, any idea?

Hello. How long did you wait for GCMS? Thank you.

It's almost as good as coin toss whether you will receive your GCMS file in 30 days or if it's going to take far longer

This is based off stats from IRCC see

CBSA on other hand has a better track; review this detailed comparison for requesting Gcms Notes from IRCC vs CBSA https://bit.ly/34nuJPu that others are quoting from
