I also applied in June and in process since October. I am over 54, so no test or proof of language required. Best of luck to all.

I am in the same boat, haven't received anything yet as of June 4, 2020. I applied from Toronto. Please update if you heard anything after your post?

Your current name is your name at birth... so put it.

Given that application processing slowed down dramatically in March, this may feel more dramatic than it is. They may simply have been checking on travel records (if there's many it can take longer) or similar and then things stopped up for a while. You could fill out the form on their web page and ask for an update though:

It appears the ceremony is primarily for frontline workers during the COVID-19 crisis.

I watched the July 1 virtual citizenship ceremony live and there were 19 people who swore the oath from 13 different countries..

Would you kindly share whether you have received invitation for virtual oath on phone or through email and as to whether you
are front line worker and as general as we are. You reply will give some relief. With kind regards.

Thank you! I am neither a frontline worker nor did I apply for urgent processing. I received a call on June 22 scheduling me for an oath on July 3, email July 1, and then a follow up confirmation call on July 2.
