We passed the test yesterday at Scarborough office and today our ECAS shows decision made.
The test was very intuitive and simple, I found that this website is the closest in terms of difficulties and similarities versus the real test:
http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/
After the test, we waited for approximately 15 minutes for the interview, the officer asked us about our jobs and other basic stuff, but she did check our stamps on the passports very carefully, she matched each stamp with our physical presence calculators, and she said we are all good and expect for the oath within 1 to 3 months. Hopefully we will be able to get the oath date quickly since we do have some plans for spring, either way I will keep everyone updated.

My timeline (me & my sister applied at the same time..& sent our application in one envelope)

sent app: june 21
app received: june 28
received receipt of application acknowledgement : sept 5
started processing our app: oct 17
got an invite for the test: nov 7
took & passed the test: nov 29 (we did not get an interview during this day, officer just said "congratulations" & i think interview will be at the same day as oath if i'm not mistaken??? anyone have the same experience?)

as of now, status online is still in process.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to speed up the process seeing as you are well within the 12-month processing time frame. Do you recall what timeframes for oath your interviewing officer gave you post-test? There are plenty of June applicants who have yet to receive their test invites, let alone DMs or oath invitations. You can always order GCMS notes to see what stage your application is in.
Re: your PR card, if you do plan on travelling outside Canada you would have to renew it. The turnaround time for processing is rather quick. On one hand, you can wait it out and hope you get called for the oath before March. But as to guessing when your application would change to DM/when you get an oath invite, anyone's guess is as good as yours. If cost is not an issue, and you don't mind spending $50 on the renewal of the card just so you can have the freedom of travel, you can do so in the new year.
Good luck!

What's GCMS notes though? Would you please let me know how to order then?

Passed the test today in Ottawa (19/20). The interview did not last more than 3 minutes. Fairly simple. The interviewer said I should receive the invitation to the oath ceremony in 8 weeks.

Congratulations, I'm in Ottawa too and would like to know how hard the test was? where did you prepare for the test from besides the Book of course? which online practice websites were the closest to the real test?.

We passed the test. DM – 9 Jan 2020. Admin could you please update.

The test was simple. The total process – test, interview and waiting took us 1 hour. The interviewer checked our passports and asked us what we did for a living. She said oath ceremony should be in 3 months.

Passed the test yesterday in Ottawa. It was super easy. I found http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/ website to be closest to the questions being asked (closest not exact). You should go through the book once in detail and should pass the test easily. Interview was simple and 5 minutes long. Total process took about an hour. Interviewer said to expect an oath email in 2-3 months.

Passed the test in Mississauga Nov 8th, no one at the session we attended were interviewed, only spoken to so as to receive results test. Our status also still shows as "in process". Nothing to be concerned about.

The test was easy. If you can go through the "Discover Canada" book once or twice and practice Q & A's from http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/ (Website has about 150 questions) once, you should be totally fine. I spent just the last 1-2 days preparing and I think it should be fine for most people. Good luck!
