Great to see Scarborough and Toronto applicants getting test dates. Still waiting here, how do I know if Toronto or Scarborough is processing mine?

Are there two offices? I applied from "North York" to be exact.

Sorry if it has been asked before. Getting anxious now as Scarborough/Toronto folks who applied around my timeline have gotten test dates!

Applied from downtown Toronto - still waiting for an invitation. they started processing the application October 16th...

Applied from Burnaby:-
Application Received - June 3
AOR - August 15
InProcess - Sep 27
Test Invite - Not yet

Anyone in the same boat like me?

For anyone on Vancouver Island who is waiting for a test date - note the IRCC has announced a second visit - this time to Parksville February 18 to 21. It will include that area 'plus Victoria'. I suppose the volumes have been higher than expected so a second date was created.

Applied from Toronto - single applicant around 1200days
Application Received - June 27
AOR - Sep 03
InProcess - Oct 09
Test Invite - waiting

I see that they ask for your original COPR and I don’t have that piece of paper ( thought it was invalid after you receive your PR card)

should I be concerned ?

They also ask for your PR card which sort of makes the COPR redundant, that said we took everything they asked for and they looked at none of it back in November when we did our test. If you don't have it then there is nothing you can do.

Hey guys! I passed my citizenship test this morning in Edmonton (20/20). They only asked for my passport, PR card and driving license. The “interview” after my exam didn’t even last for 5min. Very smooth process, and indeed, if you read the book a few times and do some tests online (I used this one: http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/index.cfm?province=AB, definitely recommend it) you should be good.

The ceremony should be in 2-4 months for me! Just wanted to thank this forum for all the help I received through the years :)

Good luck everyone!

Me too from Metro Vancouver. I can't even see any status from eCAS. Can you logon to eCAS?

Yes Lots are waiting Some applicants from March and April are still waiting too. The IRCC has 12 months before one is considered late. So there is no need to worry for many months just yet. It takes time depending upon ones situation and who is processing your file.

What do you exactly mean by second visit ?

There is not a permanent IRCC location on Vancouver Island So unlike Vancouver, we are restricted to the dates when IRCC schedules a trip to our island. This happens only 2 or 3 times in a year
IRCC is scheduled to be in Victoria January 20 to 24.
It now appears they are also going to be in Parksville February 18 to 21 This is not a full week which is unusual. One can only guess that they couldn't fit all the Island people into the Victoria week so they booked a second trip and moved it to Parksville. One can only hope that one gets a test invite to one of the two locations over the next two weeks. Check your mail and spam on a daily basis.

Has anyone been asked for a birth certificate or marriage license? I have to mail my originals to file for my old age social security pension and will wait if they might be needed for citizenship. Thank you in advance.

The documents you need to submit are listed on the document checklist, that is all you have to supply.
