Hello everyone ...please I am kind of worried , submitted my citizenship application June 27th 2019 and received July 6th. Till now I have not received AOR . Spoke to an agent and she couldn’t find my application, she sent email to Sydney for me and they confirmed they have the application but doing extra verification to see if I am eligible before they send AOR...just worried

Thanks for the feedback, do these two websites have different questions pools? which one was more useful -in your opinion-?
The best advice is to read full book page to page, do practice questions as many as possible and then finally read the book again. Improve your understanding rather than relying on online pool.

AbdelAllah, the question pool is different. I found Citizen Support super useful. But, I did start out using Citizenship Courts.

Best of luck with your prep!

I agree. It’s not about regurgitating the information. You should read the book at least once before taking the practice quiz.

To those who have taken the test:

What document did you bring with you to the exam? The "all your original documents that support your citizenship application" part is not very clear. Do I have to bring the application form and physical presence calculation too or just the documents that were sent as photocopies (PR card, driver's license, graduation certification, etc.).

TIA

Hi, please don’t worry yet. If the agent has confirmed that they have received your application and just doing some additional checks, then it’s just a waiting game from now on. Did they give you a deadline by which you have to call back if you don’t hear anything?
If they revealed they can’t find your application anywhere, then that would be an issue and you would have to resend.
Meanwhile I would keep checking ECAS and your spam folder. If you don’t hear anything in the next few weeks, suggest you call again and involve an MP. Good luck!

Hi Tia,
I interpreted that as the documents listed on the checklist e.g. IDs, graduate transcript, current & old passport etc. However, at my testing they only checked my PR card against the test notification.

I wanted to be prepared (just in case!) lol Everyone’s experience is likely different. All the best.

Thanks! That's what I figured too but wanted to be sure from someone with first hand experience.

Was there too many questions from the history section? The names and dates are too hard to remember lol!

lol I know. I can’t share that with you. But like I said, don’t worry about regurgitating the information.

I received an invitation to write a "Citizenship Test" on my email today. The test will be in Nov 28 @ 10:15 in the morning in Montreal. My AOR was on Sept. 05, 2019 and In Process on Oct. 28. 2019.

If your application gets sent begining of June and it gets sent back because you missed something, does it go all the way to the back of the line? or am i still part of june applications?

cheers.

Hey!

So the first time i sent off my application, i never received an AOR, it just got sent back incomplete because i forgot to attach my old passport information

I re-sent everything off and this time around i got an AOR, is that a sign that my application is complete this time or just something wrong with the system in that i didnt get an AOR the first time?

Yes, AOR means your application is complete and will be processes soon.
