You don't need to put addresses where you stayed during your vacation. Your home address will be valid during that time. E.g you live in Toronto ssince Jan 2018 and went to Europe for one month in March 2019 you will put your Toronto address in the form i.e. Jan 2018 till present Toronto. During your all vacations your home address at that time will be valid. Therefore you won't have any gap

Thank you Yasir

I do have another question. My citizenship eligibility period is June 2014-June 2019. I did not visit Canada before becoming a PR in Dec 2015. In the physical presence online form I am supposed to enter the period I was out of Canada, how do I show the period that I spent outside Canada before becoming a PR.

Hi All,

Firstly, All the best to everyone on this citizenship process journey.

I will be submitting my application soon by the end of June

I have all my docs in place, I just had a few questions if anyone can please answer these question i'd be grateful.

I was on student permit (Jan 2014- Sept 2015)then on a work permit(Sept 2015- April 2017) and got my PR and landing done in April 2017. After I got my PR, I have visited USA a couple of times (10-12 days in all) and visited my home country once (20-25 days).

1)Do I need a police clearance certificate?

2)I am currently at 1115 days of physical present - is that enough or should I wait for like another month or so, in order to have a good amount of buffer days (just asking to be safe)

3)How to make the pay the application fee of $630.00? Do I need to have an online login account?

I believe this entire citizenship process is paper base unlike the PR which was all online
4)What is the best way to send doc - regular mail or courier

To summarize my documents include
1)Application form
2)Online present calculator sheet
3)Passport photocopies
4)Proof of knowledge of language -IELTS result from Sept 2016 and diploma and transcript copies
5)Photocopies of drivers and health card
6)Two citizenship photos
7)Fee receipt
8) Checklist

All my documents are in English so I don't require any translations, also no name change or other documents are required for my application purpose

Please let me know if I am missing something or anything that i need to pay special attention to

Thanks in advance

Hi everyone,
I got my PR in 2017 Apr and now eligible for applying citizenship. However, I have couple of below questions. Can anyone help me on these?
1) My daughter has also got the PR on same day I got. However, she didn't complete her 1095 days of physical presence in Canada since she went on vacation for more than 6 months. Can I still apply her citizenship application along with mine?
2) If yes to my first question, which application form should I need to fill?
3) And, her passport is getting expired on Nov 2019, so can I still attach her passport to the application because citizenship application may take more than 6-8 months by then her passport will have been expired?

Thanks!!!!!

Thank you Yasir

You don't have to show time spent outside Canada before becoming Canadian resident. You only need to show time spent after becoming Permanent resident. So list your trips that u took after you became pr in Dec 2015

Hi Guys,
I'm about to apply for citizenship in a few days. i was on a work permit before becoming permanent resident.
Just a quick question for my minor kids, I don't see any input for the time spent before PR on minor's form. is it fine?
I just want to make sure that i am using the right form for the minors.
I would gratefully appreciate your reply.
Kind Regards
Adeel
