After it appears on ECAS, in a few days some take weeks, itll go into in progress. But honestly, after the AOR, everything is going to be fast if its routine applications. When you get the AOR you can breathe a lot more because you know everything is complete. Next they check is eligibility and that all info is accurate.

For anyone wondering about when In Process might be expected....
If you analyse the previous months there is a pattern.
Its about 6 weeks between AOR and when In Process might be considered. It varies by location workload.
For June applicants, one might guess the window for In Process might range from September 15 to November 11.
This is only assuming past trends continue. As a general rule of thumb - add 6 weeks to your AOR date and you might be within the range.
There are exceptions to this in each direction though - but only a few.

Guys, my ECAS shows my current mailing address to be that of my origin country. I don't know if this is a mistake or normal? I'm still awaiting my "Discover Canada" book and when I checked ECAS, I noticed that my home address (Canadian) and my mailing address is (origin country). I don't know how this happened!! Should I worry to change? or just leave it like that...Will "Test invite" and "Oath letter" come by email or letter? Thanks

Can you clarify "home country". As a permanent resident of Canada - isn't Canada your home country? Are you no longer in Canada?

Apologies ! I meant my origin country! I live in Canada.
You might want to check that there is no mention of your previous address anywhere on your application as a start. The fact that you mentioned it as your 'home country' leads one to believe it might be possible you listed that address on your application. Once you have confirmed that there is no mention of your previous address ANYWHERE on your current application - then if somehow they make reference to an address not on your application - then it is worth a phone call to them.
