Hi,

Need some advice. My application was received in June 2019 and I have completed the online test few weeks before and waiting for next step.

I am from Brampton and the application is processed in Scarbrough office.I plan to relocate to a new location in Brampton after 3 months and may have to apply for change of address after 3 months.

Would change of address within the same location in Brampton will have any impact on my application process since I have already given my online test and waiting for the Oath.
Well not very likely. The oath should be coming soon and shouldnt be taking that long. That being said, as you near your 90 days mark, send them a chance of address, if the process hasn't drawn any closer by then.
Also don't think the office will change either

Today I received the email saying I can schedule my online test.

Congrats. I have a similar timeline too. Where is your office ?

Hey man, wait till you actually move. My advice would be don't update it before moving. Being proactive actually delays process I guess.

My wife is June 2019 citizenship applicant ,she had FP request in Oct 2019 and was sent FP to them .She passed her Citizenship test on January 2020 and since then waiting for oath.
Last week she got FP request again ,she did her FP again a couple days back and RCMP sent it directly to CIC Vancouver. (as it is obvious, FP of Oct 2019 was expired.)
Guys, do you think getting FP request again is a good sign and reason to believe that she should get an oath request soon.

Anyone in the same boat?

Thanks

FP is related to criminality check, which expires in exactly 1 year. The 2nd FP is just to renew that check. DM on eCAS should be the indicator for an upcoming oath. Hopefully she will get it soon.

Yeah. Wait for it, may be open an webform ticket to confirm if they have received FP once 4 weeks windows passed.

Got test invite , anyone with questions/answers or any material? Sorry not a right way but if you can help
Read the guide a couple of times. Your best source. Online practice tests are oftentimes outdated, but you can do them as well. Just google 'Canadian citizenship practice test" and you'll find a good dozen of them.

It seems only Southern Ontario is being processed with a few minor exceptions in Alberta and 1 in Winnipeg. It just doesn't seem right that it is so focused on mostly one region. Meanwhile the new status tracker is slowly moving yet I see many applicants from January to March who either are not recording their updates on the spread sheet or we are missing something. So frustrating for all of us (except Southern Ontario).
