Agree. It's been a while. Latest updated is IRCC is looking at all options for testing.

Hi,

I’ve received today an invitation for virtual oath ceremony for the 13th of August.

The invitation was an email (same email address from which I got the first oath invitation), with all the details for zoom video ceremony.

I’m so happy Edmonton office is moving!

I’ve just had my virtual oath ceremony. It was just me, 2 IRCC officers and the judge. The ceremony lasted about 20 minutes.

Let me add that even if the ceremony was virtual, it was very special and everybody was very friendly.

They told me it takes from 2 to 4 weeks for the certificate to arrive. They also asked if I need a passport sooner, but I declined to urgent the process, I’m not in a rush and I know others really need the certificate sooner.
