I called the immigration office today, the agent is nice and she told me that normally the application takes more than 6 months because they are so busy. She looked at my files and did not told me any details, she said, everything looks good, they are reviewing your files......

Just called CIC to get an update on my application.

The agent said:
Medical Passed
Background checks are still underway
Eligibility is recommended passed
My VO is Sidney.

My current timeline is:
AOR: June 29
MEP: Aug 6
Ghost update: August 12

And waiting so far...

I got a ghost update on Sept 29th. I called them on Sept 30th and they said that all checks have been cleared and case is assigned to the visa officer for final approval. It took 4 days to get the PPR after ghost update

I applied through a representative. So i dont know much about my file.
I called ircc twice around 3 weeks ago agent told me that my eligibility is recommended passed and security and criminality under process.
But last week i was told by an agent that medicals are passed eligibility recommended passed and criminality under process and security yet to be initiated.
Can anyone please tell me what would be my status and how much time will it take to recieve ppr.

One of mine friend who got aor in july recieved ppr last week. Dont know how they work like somebody from july recieved ppr and i have seen some from april are waiting for a response
