June 2018 Spousal Applications problem with Form IMM 5406

Hi
I have send my spouse sponsor application few days back i.e in June 2018.
According to the application package I have send Form IMM 0008 and Document checklist of the June 2018 version.
However as we see in the application package the form IMM 5406(Additional Family Info) shows Feb 2018 beside it and I ended up sending Feb Version, recently I happen to see that when I download it shows 05-2018 version.
Has anyone else done the same thing.
And has anyone submitted older version of this form and gone ahead in the process without a problem.
Please reply.
Any help will be appreciated.

I don’t think you will have any issues, the forms are exactly the same and as stated by others IRCC gives a few buffer days to switch from the old to the new versions of the forms

Yes I hope so, but no idea how much time they consider buffer days or till when they accept old ones.

hello guys we submitted last years forms last march but cic returned it because of a missing document which is the Notice of assestment. No indication on the letter that we need to use the 2018 forms though we just missed 1 document and thats it. So we just recently sent out application again and it was received by R mahmood last june 21. hoping there will be a problem with this time since we sent same old forms from last year.

You should always send the most recent forms. Last year you had to wait for them to request police record and schedule A, but that changed in february and now you must send them upfront. Some forms were updated in February, March, May and June. Also the signatures expire after 90 days. They said they would give a grace period to people who sent the application this month and didn't include the updated forms or checklist. That happened to us, forms were updated while our application was travelling to Mississauga, but I'm not sure if they would give a grace period to people who sent 2017 forms.

Thank you for your response. We already included police clearance and schedule A. But I think the signatures for my wife’s part wasn’t recent. That was from last years. Since they already checked it last April and returned it to us indicating that it’s only 1 missing document and not indicating other problems I hope we are good to go. Hope everything gets Well.

Any updates on your application.I had same problem sended my filr in may came back because of no signature on background form and i sended back with all forms

Sorry to hear that.
We haven’t receive AOR yet. I called cic today and they said to wait for 1 to 2 weeks more.
