True but i think its common sense too that pr must be living in canada ..catch word ‘living’ means working or paying taxes or paying bills in canada which most of us will be while visiting our spouses ..,isnt?neha25 thanks 4 understanding REALLY no PR I have seen NOT coming back after marrying.. THEY MUST change this restriction. And say sponsor lives there for many years he will as a PR lose his and his wife's PR status automatically. Who will be at LOSS? Sponsor + APPLICANT NOT the GOVT
Even tourist visa for any country is valid for 6 months so how can being physically present or residing outside canada for anything lesser than 6 months be seen as living outside canada??
I just dont get the logic here
Also on one hand they reject app if sponsor or Pa havnt visited spouse in last 1 year ( yet they reject Trv visa for PA of sponsorship app in progress90% of times) on other hand if we want to visit and stay with our spouse for 3-4 months which proves relation is genuine they will reject the app then as well... anyway if Pr doesn't stay for 2 year time period in 5 year time pr will be cancelled which holds true for sponsor and principal applicant both if PA gets PR ..so what is the whole fuss about not allowing sponsor to visit spouse for more than 3-4 weeks during sponsorship app in process ...?!
Sorry for the rant but i believe this is being hippocratic and at the end of it one who is at loss is us and they dont care
