Thank you.
Just not familiar with the terminology like AOR, ECS etc in the spreadsheet , i have been googling each one at a time and getting familiar.
I am sure they're there some where in the spreadsheet but its ok i am getting used to it now.

Check the monthly comparison tab of the spread sheet, this will explain you all the terminologies used.

Hello everyone! Got my AOR last night!!

I was just reviewing my application, I think it will be returned coz in 11 I checked employed and homemaker but I forgot to check no for self employed and student. But there were no gaps or missing periods for my application.

Do you get an email if your application is returned?

Work-related. I need to participate in conferences, mostly in the USA and Europe, and my passport is not visa- exempt. This creates tons of problems for my employer.

Hi there, I am in almost the exact same boat. I have to travel to Europe a lot for my new job and getting so many visas is such a hassle. Is this a valid reason for them to expedite the process? Please let me know, and if it is, if you could let me know the process of contacting them for expediting my process, that would be great.

Thanks!

Well, let's see. it really depends on the officer :) Maybe they'll just request clarification!

Hi Fatima,

there are other posts that talk about requesting urgent processing.
Unfortunately, the fact that it would be a "hassle" to get visas is not a reason for urgent processing.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Which is why I was surprised that the other person requested urgent processing for this reason, I highly doubt that they care about us having to get Visas for our work trips lol

Yes, I agree. It would be different if there was a job offer contingent on having Canadian citizenship (which is rare).
But then again, people can always request it I guess. Worst case scenario they just won't be processed as urgent- having said that, I think that applying for something one knows doesn't really include their case like that is a waste of time and puts more work into the hands of the officers, and these people already have a ton of work to do lol
