Thanks a lot every one. But I dont intend to go to canada on a tourist visa just to get the visa office changed. Just thought it to be an overkill...have waited 14 months might as well a few more months. But really appreciate Prashant, Sid and Cansa and Rohan for all the help

Received RPRF request today. Uploaded the receipt in the morning. Status changed from "We need additional documents" to "not applicable". Is that how it works?
I'm in the similar boat as you. How long approximately did it take for your status to change?

Hello guys. my application has been under security screening since Oct. 2018. Today, I just got an update on my medical. It's changed to "You don't need.." from "passed" when I reached 1 year mark. Today, it's changed to "passed" again, and new pass date is marked as of 21 August. Does any one know if this means anything? like: my SS is completed? or if they just do this for all inland applicants whose medical is expired? Thanks in advance.

I think it means your medical is extended, which is usually the case for in-land applicants. You can call IRCC to be sure about your SS. How did you get to know your SS starting date? CBSA Notes?

Hi All,
Just a query, if the Visa office gives an extension of medicals do they give it for an year or it could even be a few months.

My medicals have expired on 21st June 2019 and am waiting to hear from the NDVO.
My understanding is that either they will ask me to do remedicals or they will give an extension.

Hence the question - what is the duration of extension generally? Need to plan a few things hence thhis

It is one year in most cases. I haven't seen a case on this forum where it was less than one year.

You guys are the best! You have been with me through this painfully long journey, and I want to share my excitement with you as my journey as a PR applicant comes to and end.

I received the PPR (Ready for Visa Email) yesterday.YES!

A HUGE HUGE thanks to all those shared their stuggles, advised me, gave me comfort, and kept me sane throughout this atrociously long waiting period.

If your application is still being processed, I want you to stay strong, keep going, and know that the night is darkest before the dawn. I pray that you quickly get to the next stage, one step closer to making your dreams a reality.

My Timeline:
AOR: September 2018
Medical Pass: October 2018
GCMS request 1: April 2019
GCMS request 2: July 2019
Remedical Request: 6 August 2019
GCMS notes 1 received: 15 August 2019 (indicated RR for job experience letter)
Remedical Submitted: 17 August 2019
PPR: 24 August 2019

It is not the end, it's just the beginning.

After receiving RPRF request and ready for visa email, my status still reads. " we are reviewing additional documents you sent". I think it really doesn't matter what your status says. You should be very close to ready for visa email.

Yes it is irrelevant. Once you get your visa stamped on passport it will change to approved

Any update? I am is a similar situation and no update yet. AOR June 18th.

My Situation:

AOR: June 18th,2018
Medicals Passed : July 4th.2018
ADR: July 7th, 2018

In September 2018 I realized that I had not uploaded my LOE's for my application (which even though not requested) I uploaded on September 22nd,2018.

Documents attached to my case on Novemebr 4th,2018 since then my application has been awaiting review of an officer. (14+ months and counting)

Medicals: expired no request for re-medicals
Address and phone number change request : Processed ( moved for US to India)

Any tips/tricks would be of great help. Because I am seriously contemplating withdrawing my application and refiling it as of now my crs score is 473 post December it would be 467. So would want to capitalize on this as soon as possible.
