Got a message on December 13th saying that I'm in the 20% of cases that take longer to complete.. anyone else on the same boat? Stress and anxiety at maximum level at this point!!

Oops.. thats a very respectable position.. sorry for asking like this.. i still remember how scared i was of the dean of my college.. and m from punjab sir.. i knw the workings of universities in our country.. it must be very difficult for u to make this decision

Don’t know but from June the processing of applications have slowed down a lot and by September the slowdown is even worse. Unless something dramatic happens it is impossible to guess when we can expect PPRs. The people with approved cases are waiting for almost two months now and then there are cases like mine which haven’t even been touched post August. So don’t know really.

Hope you receive an update soon. I still remember how cheerful we were to see an update in our account after almost five months of long and stressful waiting. Good luck.

By the way, I also received a message in my CIC account stating Congratulations. You should now start searching for jobs, etc. Is it any sort of indication or does everyone receives it when their BG is in progress. Please reply.

It is. In US people start taking off starting Thursday just a week prior to Christmas. Many people travel back to family etc. I have seen offices getting empty mid week prior to Christmas here and even if people are in office the attendance is so low that rest of the people generally fool around. I don't expect IRCC agents to be working harder than they have been working till now. If they do, good for us. But, I'm neither holding my breath on that nor betting any money they will do so.

In the past people have received this message just prior to PPR. I don't think that trend holds anymore. In my case I had received this email just after ITA even before I had submitted my application.

I guess we'll all be experts in anxiety control huh? whate stage are you at? I believe I'm at IP2 because my BG status is "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" but please correct me if I'm wrong

Is the case officer/agent notified when you upload an ADR file to the application?
