Congratulations mate and wish you happy life ahead!!
Please let us know if you are moving to Canada from India? And if yes, can you share what measures you have taken to cope up with winters there?
I used to live in the east coast a few years ago. It was snowing when I landed, I don't enjoy it. Get good boots and look out for black ice (it's a film of ice on the road, sidewalk etc which is nearly invisible), You will slip and hurt yourself if you are not careful.

Some of my friends had fractures because of slipping on the black ice. It's dangerous!

I've had that pleasure a few times. Luckily no fractures. Also @CoolSandy if you are planning to drive, Buy a snow shovel and keep a couple gallons of de-icer in your car to remove ice from windshield.
Sounds alarming... I think its going to take some time for us to get used to such harsh weather's and not forgetting precautions while walking or driving...
Thanks for the info @navinball and @sid1987 !!
