Just got an update and application says approved.
Others still remain same.

That's good. We are expecting a big chunk of PPR by this Friday for June folks. Hope you get it.

Just got off the call with the agent she said eligibility appears to be met and security not started yet. Don't know what that means. Visa office is Ottawa.

Congrats .. can you give some more details about your stream, timeline, Country of residence etc. Also, what is the visa office as per PPR mail.

Hey guys - I just got off a call with an agent. Had to wait for 42 minutes! The agent was pretty helpful and responsive (actually most of them are). My question was specific to the background check since I got an update that my check is in progress roughly 7 days ago. She said part 1 is pending and part 2 is successful, hence complete. So on the whole, I'd say it's partial completion. I hope this gives some respite to most of you who have been stuck in background check for the past week or so. I'm sure most of all us will be in the same boat.

My sense is, with part 1 still pending, don't think I can expect a final result by the end of next week. If something magical happens before that, nothing like it. Its still a waiting game!
