Hi dear,
You got nothing to worry so far based on what u learnt from the agent. On the bright side, you atleast got some visibility about your LVO. It is true that the agent will not be able to help you out with any information since the file has moved out from the visa office (VO) to a local visa office (LVO).
Inorder for you to get a more transparent status, u will need to order GCMS notes.

All the best dear!! Cheers!!
Thank you for taking the time to reply. God Bless you and all the best for your application :)

I have submitted FD certificate and bank statement and a bank letter. My FD was only about 2 weeks old at the time of submission. My bank provided me a standard letter but I requested them to add this line in the letter "This Fixed Deposit can be encashed on any date before the agreed maturity date by the request of the client". It worked for me.

You can get the standard solvency letter from the bank with the above line added. Then submit this letter and bank statement from the opening date of the FD. Also add a LoE to explain that, you have noticed in GCMS notes case analyst expressed his concern about the pof hence you are providing these supporting documents.

There is no ideal maturity date, you are good as long as money can be accessed at any time. My FD has 6 months maturity period.
Even i had a bank letter made which clearly said that the amount in account and FDs is readily available for withdrawal.

Hi All,

I have noticed that NDVO hasnt issued PPRs since a very long time possibly since March/April 2018. However, I see Ottawa issuing PPRs regularly. We cant even speak to someone at NDVO over the phone. Just wondering, Whats wrong with NDVO ?

Usually these days almost all files are processed completely in canada and only go to local visa office in case additional verifications are needed or finalization/passport submissions.
