Are you freaking serious?its been 26 days since my AOR and i havent received my PPR yet. this long wait is killing me. I think ill just send my passport to them and let them figure it out. hopefully that will force them into action.
What was your background status before the change?Hello all,
My AOR was June 27th. However, today the background check status changed to "Not applicable". i am a bit confused since the medicals status has not changed (You do not need an exam. We will send you instructions if you need one).
Any ideas regarding the BG status change
Can't seem to remember properly. But it was a standard long message (like we will let you know etc) but definitely it was not "not applicable" status. What was your background status before the change?
According to the experts the changes in your CIC profile don't mean much. The only way you can really get insight into your case is by ordering GCMS notes, where you can see detailed description of what is happening with your file. It advised ordering them approxiamtely 45 days from AOR at the earliest. Can't seem to remember properly. But it was a standard long message (like we will let you know etc) but definitely it was not "not applicable" status.
I was actually surprised to see the status update in the account since its too early looking at my AOR date.
it generally goes like this : NA1->IP1->NA2->IP2->NA3->PPR->CoPRCan't seem to remember properly. But it was a standard long message (like we will let you know etc) but definitely it was not "not applicable" status.

You might be either in NA1 or NA2 stage.. but as Ronja quote above, these MyCIC statues do seldom mention anything.Hello all,

Best would be to call IRCC folks once you complete 2 months into your application and ask them questions about your eligibility, criminality and BGC
Didn't you fill in a WES-reference no. with your initial application? Same for IELTS. I'm fairly confident they have access to all the information using this reference no, otherwise I see no value in us providing them that information in the first place.I did not upload IELTS and WES report along with my application as there was no separate section for these in the doc checklist, and help section for education docs only asked for degree certificates.
Now I received Addition Doc Requirement for IELTS which I uploaded.
Wondering, if absence WES report will become an issue as well and cause further delay.
