and I said this before as well... the processing is little slow right now due to influx for student visas and work permits and also... there are few organization level changes were on in iRCC... few new directives... it was all over news in Canada
Mate you give us a lot of useful info. Yes, it seems there are factors which is slowing down processing "
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/enewsletter/index.asp" provides more info. Regarding the whole GCMS notes discussion here, i couldn't restrict myself involving in it. one can apply for gcms notes as many times so if you feel this would expedite your application processing then do it (i don't see a downside here even if its not true). There is no point in debating it here or proving it to anyone vice-versa.
Now remember people who "Applied: before December 31, 2014" had been given 45 months as processing time on other hand we are given 6 months. isn't that fast enough? Be patient, if information provided by you is genuine, your application will get through regardless of how much time it going to take? .. Remember patience means "the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious." and we always rush to fail. I wish you all a very good luck
