it seems like PPRs are getting extinct for all June-itesHas anybody received ppr
I think even seeing IP2 is rare for June AOR's except Inland and US applicants....it seems like PPRs are getting extinct for all June-ites
Hi, our case is at Sydney too!! not sure yet if its good or bad!! June 8 AOR and most likely in IP2 since July 13th (processing background check) but i guess still in IP1 technically because eligibility is not recommended pass!! WEIRD!!Got an email after making a webform enquiry, read like this:
Dear Sir / Madam,
Thank you for your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong.
Your application is currently with the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, NS. Please contact CIO-Sydney directly by email to CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca .
Note that your original enquiry has not been retained by this office.
We hope that this information will be of assistance.
Sincerely,
So, is my case in Sydney a good news or bad news?
Not true for all US applicants. Mine is still stuck at IP1. No updates since July 10th.I think even seeing IP2 is rare for June AOR's except Inland and US applicants....
That makes IP2 even rarer now !!!Not true for all US applicants. Mine is still stuck at IP1. No updates since July 10th.
Yes, agree with you! My AOR is June 10th. Still on IP1. Also, do you know which visa office is processing your application ?Not true for all US applicants. Mine is still stuck at IP1. No updates since July 10th.
Mine is Ottawa..Aor June 4th.. Rprf July 5th..No update after that.. Bg check yet to start..Guys - as requested by @cansha, people stuck at IP1 should find out their VO. Many of us who have June 1st or 2nd week AOR are stuck with Montreal. This information may help us.
your only r10 completeness is done... not security screeningSmall update for me: My Review of additional documents (PCC) has changed from "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided" to "Not applicable". I didn't include a PCC with my original application as I was still waiting for it to be delivered to me, and I was eager on getting my application started. I only needed 1 PCC as I've never lived outside my home country and Canada.
Timeline:
July 16: Medical exam passed. Application went to IP2.
July 16: Request for Police Certificate. Uploaded it the same day.
July 19: Status change to "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided"
August 14: Status change to "Not applicable"
I suppose this means that my security screening has been completed?
Do you know which visa office is processing your application ?still stuck at IP1 , it will be 2 months since Aor. Apply from USA
You think so? I thought IP1 confirms passing R10 - it's true the PCC wasn't included yet at that point, but it'd seem odd for them to take almost a full month for a R10 check. The status change for additional documents was:your only r10 completeness is done... not security screening
