Hi guys,
So after 9 months, we have received an update on our application and they have asked us to redo a medical test (which was about to expire next month) and also the background check status which earlier said check not started has been updated to "we have started your background check".
Is this a sign of good news?
Heres the screenshot

The only Reason you got this request it that your medical is valid for 1 year and the processing time is crossing 1year, so when you receive your PPR you will have less than a month if they issue a PPR with the old Medical. So, no time line is guranted after you submit your medical, because security can take anytime from 2days to 3 months. So don't worry you will get your PPR soon.

Again remed request is on officer’s discreation... so give 6 month ext without asking anythin

if a certain province has granted a person nomination under a particular NOC, arey there even remote chances of refusal by CIC stating discrepancies in roles n resonsibilties or mismatch for the same NoC?

Yes, there are...that is why CIC has a separate Eligibilty check. However, as per my knowledge, we have only see very few rejections...one in hundreds.

If you feel your reference letter mentions the responsibilities incorrectly or you have chosen the NOC incorrectly. Send a corrective Reference letter with LOE, suo motto.

Even if your application is rejected. You still stand a chance to reapply or correct. So don't worry.

If you feel that the NOC code is not correct, please update the same to IRCC. If you do not update and the difference comes in the notice of IRCC, you will be charged under misrepresentation.
But if your NOC code matches 70% of your Job duties than you are good to go.
