You can land anywhere in Canada, including Quebec. I wrote a piece on PNP and PR rights under the Constitution, see:URGENT!!!
Guys, this is the second time posting this, I would really appreciate some help. My husband and I received our COPR and destination province says Alberta and dest. city is Calgary. Must we land in Calgary? I know tobs said we can land anywhere in Canada except Quebec, but our consultant just said "It's in your best interest to land in Calgary"
We are kinda worried as tickets to Calgary are super expensive and we planned on traveling next week.
Please respond. @legalfalcon
Thank you!
Amen! True thatCongrats @Nishika22 It's has been a long wait.
I know i know, it was your interview today. How did it go??

Or idiot, ignorant and not a consultant.Your consultant is either ignorant or idiot or both. It will be in your best interest to stay away from him.
And if you are really going to value his word over anyone over here than it defeats the whole purpose of asking the question in the first place. I understand you are anxious but then I think you (unintentionally) disrespect the person who took out time, read your question and gave you an answer.
But in any case what people have suggested is correct. You can land anywhere except Quebec.
Imagine all of them setting a date with him and meeting at the same time .Hopefully those women don’t know each other, because I’m pretty sure he wrote the same thing to all of them
It keeps on goong don worryHi everyone,
I have applied for permanent residency under federal skilled worker program from within Canada, so I am a inland applicant . I am currently on study permit which is valid until 30 march 2019. Its been more than 6 months and I haven't heard anything on my application decision yet. I wanted to know if lets assume I don't get the decision by march, 3oth 2019 ,which the date for my expiry of current status and I have to leave Canada what will happen to my application ? Experts please advice . Thanks
Thanks, since I am not thinking to extend my study permit now as it is very expensive to study as an international student compared to a resident. So if I go back to my home country , and I get the ppr while being there , do I have to change the visa office in that case for Passport stamping ? Also will my application be still processed here only in Canada or will it be considered outland application than ? Sorry I am just so confused about what to do . I was also considering to go on visitors visa if I don't get the decision by March , so that I can stay here till i get the decision on my application. Do you have any suggestions please? It keeps on goong don worry

Ok thanks a lot. I got information from someone telling that if you leave Canada than the processing time increases and also your application can get get rejected since it's a requirement that you have to be in Canada , if you have applied from within Canada.Once u go back... just raise cse and tell them change of address.. all pr applications are completed in canada... inland outland alienland does not matter.. only diff is location as it is load balanced for ex usa is montreal and sydney... europe.
