Hello everyone,
I have finally received my GCMS notes and noticed that my file was practically untouched from August 2018 since the case analyst put it under review required (reason: unable to verify employer since our branch does not have a specific local website, only a global website is provided). There was no mention of reducing the CRS score. NOC code, work experience, duties etc were all ok as per the analyst.
No additional documents were asked till date. And background check has not started.
I am thinking to write a letter of explanation proactively to explain the existence of the company which I am working for.
Would highly appreciate if experienced members help me with the following:
- Is it ok to write LOE even if not asked by IRCC?
- Is there any particular format to be followed while writing an LOE. If yes, appreciate if anyone can share a sample letter.
- Lastly, how to send the LOE? Is it via CIC account, webform or to a specific email ?
My file is still with Ottawa office.

P.S: so if the file is under review required even for a silly reason, CIC will just sit on it and wait for years to come until we order GCMS and take action ourselves
